Neutra Bebe is a new designer brand creating minimalist clothing for kids. Their designs are sold in boutiques as well as direct to consumers through their online store.

As a designer fashion brand, Neutra Bebe’s marketing calendar is centred around product collection releases.

To nurture customers’ lifetime relationships with the brand and create consistency in their comms, our team developed an email marketing strategy that incorporated timely automated emails and manual campaign emails capitalising on product releases.

Challenges

It was particularly important for Neutra Bebe to understand the life stage their customers are going through. As new product collections are launched, their customers’ children will be growing up, and this will be essential to marketing methods.

Although Neutra Bebe did email marketing before contacting us, it mostly consisted of occasional promo emails that brought in approximately 1% of their online revenue. Our goal was to create an effective email marketing strategy and integrate it with the overall sales process.

How we helped

  • Performed an analysis of existing processes and opportunities. We were able to pinpoint three key opportunities – automated lifecycle emails, highly targeted weekly campaigns, and constant email optimisation.
  • Developed designs for the emails to help our client stand out and effectively communicate with coretarget customers.
  • Implemented a thorough email marketing strategy that connects the dots between generating a lead, signing up a new client, converting a potential client into a buyer and then a 1-time buyer into a repeat customer.
  • Integrated their Shopify e-commerce platform with a new email marketing platform, Klaviyo. The migration from Mailchimp to Klaviyo needed to be seamless because Neutra Bebe wanted their marketing team to understand the characteristics and size of their existing customer groups and engage them with relevant messages.

Within the first three months, automated flows (aka automated email sequences) were generating 20%+ of all online revenue. After introducing one campaign a week (up to five campaign’s per month), we were able to get to 35%+ of revenue generated solely from Klaviyo.

Client’s open and click-through rates remain consistently high (over 40%+, well over the above industry average at 20%).

We achieved a greater interaction with both prospective and existing customers using automated flows.
